The balearic gastronomy includes three delicious specialties for Eastern: the monas de pascua, the rubioles and empanadas, crafted by a Pastelería Cladera pastry specialist, heir of a pastry-making tradition since 1966.
Las Monas de Pascua: These are delicious chocolate specialties, that can be shaped as eggs, figures of famous TV or book characters or little houses, that symbolize that lent and its abstinence are over, therefore this specialty is only made for this holiday.
Los Rubioles:
they are half-moon-elongated-shape pastries, filled with different ingredients, that are made by Pasteleria Cladera's pastry specialists with a traditional recipe, specially for Eastern, using marmalade, pumpkin, cream, cottage cheese or chocolate.
Empanadas:
